 My favorite book writer



My favorite book writer is Martin Wickramasinghe. He is a unique book writer in sri lanka. He was born on may 29.1890. His father is Lama Hewage Basthianda Silva. His mother is Magalla Balapitiya Liyanage Thochchohami. He is the tenth son in the family. His village was Koggala. This village had a great influence on his works. The reason for this was the location and beauty of the village. He is creative writer.


At the age of 05, he learned the sinhala alphabet from the monk at the village temple. He studied at the village school. He later learned english at Bonavista school. He writes books only after this.


He is a sinhala literary writer. Among the books he has written, my favorite book is Madolduwa. He has written novels and short stories. His first sinhala novel was 'Gamperaliya'. He wrote books like " Yuganthaya, Kaliyugaya, Viragaya, Lila, Madolduwa, Bawatharana " and etc. Therefore, Martin Wikramasinghe is a great book writer in sri lanka.

My little village

 My little village   My small village is in a beautiful place in sri lanka. It is located in Yatiyanthota town, Kegalle district, Sabaragamuwa province. My village is small and beautifull. It is surrounded by green forests and mountain ranges, as well as babbling rivers. The sound of birdsong and the fresh breezo in the morning enhance the beauty of the village. It was named Denawakawaththa based on its natural beauty. That is caused by the sound of a deer.  The people in the village are very friendly and kind. They live in harmony, helping each other. The village school, temple and small market are important place in village life I am extremely proud of my small village. Because i was the only male student from my village school who was selected for university. It is a source of pride for the village and for me. My heart is my little village. My small village is a place that brings me eternal memories. I love my village.

I am a little cook

  I am a little cook  Cooking is my favorite hobbies. I like to made my mother cook. Ever since i was little, i've loved going in to the kitchen with my mother when she was cooking. That time was a very lovely hour. Cooking is an activity that brings me joy. I like to try new recipes. Sometimes i look up recipes on the internet and try making them. Among them, i especially like to make things like cakes, buns and curries. These photo show the dishes. My family also really like to taste my food. They praise me. It brings me great joy. Also, cooking is the best hobby that brings me joy and creativity. One day in the future i will become a good cook. That is my dream.  I am a little cook for now.
