 A wonderful trip to Sigiriya 


Sigiriya is one of the most beautiful places in Sri Lanka. Our trip there was an unforgettable experience.  

We left home arly in the morning at around 4 a.m. Mom, dad, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, grandma, grandpa everyone joined us on our journey. I felt a sense of peace as i traveled through the villages on sandy roads. We didn't forget to stop at tea shops along the way and drink milk tea. We had fun singing songs along the way. I was amazed when i saw the huge rock formation visible in the distance. It is a very tall. Also, the gardens around it are very beautiful. After going there and resting, we started climbing up. 

It is designed in the shape of a lion. It's designed to be entered through a lion's mouth. Climbing Sigiriya is quite a difficult task. It was a strange experience. The paintings, mirrored walls and lion's paws see when i go to the center are very beautiful. They are artistic our history seems alive. It is the house of king Kashyapa. The throne and the water pools on top of the rock are magnificent creations. The views from the top are very  beautiful. The trip to Sigiriya was a beautiful journey of our lives. It's not just a trip. It's a beautiful memory.

My little village

 My little village   My small village is in a beautiful place in sri lanka. It is located in Yatiyanthota town, Kegalle district, Sabaragamuwa province. My village is small and beautifull. It is surrounded by green forests and mountain ranges, as well as babbling rivers. The sound of birdsong and the fresh breezo in the morning enhance the beauty of the village. It was named Denawakawaththa based on its natural beauty. That is caused by the sound of a deer.  The people in the village are very friendly and kind. They live in harmony, helping each other. The village school, temple and small market are important place in village life I am extremely proud of my small village. Because i was the only male student from my village school who was selected for university. It is a source of pride for the village and for me. My heart is my little village. My small village is a place that brings me eternal memories. I love my village.

I am a little cook

  I am a little cook  Cooking is my favorite hobbies. I like to made my mother cook. Ever since i was little, i've loved going in to the kitchen with my mother when she was cooking. That time was a very lovely hour. Cooking is an activity that brings me joy. I like to try new recipes. Sometimes i look up recipes on the internet and try making them. Among them, i especially like to make things like cakes, buns and curries. These photo show the dishes. My family also really like to taste my food. They praise me. It brings me great joy. Also, cooking is the best hobby that brings me joy and creativity. One day in the future i will become a good cook. That is my dream.  I am a little cook for now.
