 My favorite book 


My favorite book is Madolduwa. This book is written by Martin Wikramasinghe. The main character of this story is a boy named Upul. Upul with his friend jinnaha, they go to an island called Madolduwa. They go there and live a life of their own. In tha meantime, they gain diverse experiences. This book develops the qualities of frifriendship through meditation. The challenges Upul and Jinnaha face are interesting. I like this book because it is interesting and fun  and when we read it, we remember our childhood. That's Madolduwa is my favorite book.

My little village

 My little village   My small village is in a beautiful place in sri lanka. It is located in Yatiyanthota town, Kegalle district, Sabaragamuwa province. My village is small and beautifull. It is surrounded by green forests and mountain ranges, as well as babbling rivers. The sound of birdsong and the fresh breezo in the morning enhance the beauty of the village. It was named Denawakawaththa based on its natural beauty. That is caused by the sound of a deer.  The people in the village are very friendly and kind. They live in harmony, helping each other. The village school, temple and small market are important place in village life I am extremely proud of my small village. Because i was the only male student from my village school who was selected for university. It is a source of pride for the village and for me. My heart is my little village. My small village is a place that brings me eternal memories. I love my village.

I am a little cook

  I am a little cook  Cooking is my favorite hobbies. I like to made my mother cook. Ever since i was little, i've loved going in to the kitchen with my mother when she was cooking. That time was a very lovely hour. Cooking is an activity that brings me joy. I like to try new recipes. Sometimes i look up recipes on the internet and try making them. Among them, i especially like to make things like cakes, buns and curries. These photo show the dishes. My family also really like to taste my food. They praise me. It brings me great joy. Also, cooking is the best hobby that brings me joy and creativity. One day in the future i will become a good cook. That is my dream.  I am a little cook for now.
