  Last day of school  The last day of school is an unforgettable day in life. A beautiful day to say goodbye filled with memories, sharing years of loughter and tears. I feel heavy when i go to school in the morning. Even if you enter through the gate every day. The gate also has value when you leave on the last day. The time spent with friends was wonderful. Everyone gets lost in the memories. The memories of spending time  with friends are still alive. The teachers who  tought them back then are still alive. They tought us not only book knowledge. They also teach about life. They  shared their experiences with us. But today they are just memories. Today we understand the effort they made for us. The last day of school is a special moment.   A wonderful trip to Sigiriya  Sigiriya is one of the most beautiful places in Sri Lanka. Our trip there was an unforgettable experience.   We left home arly in the morning at around 4 a.m. Mom, dad, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, grandma, grandpa everyone joined us on our journey. I felt a sense of peace as i traveled through the villages on sandy roads. We didn't forget to stop at tea shops along the way and drink milk tea. We had fun singing songs along the way. I was amazed when i saw the huge rock formation visible in the distance. It is a very tall. Also, the gardens around it are very beautiful. After going there and resting, we started climbing up.  It is designed in the shape of a lion. It's designed to be entered through a lion's mouth. Climbing Sigiriya is quite a difficult task.   My hobby is reading a books " Reading completes a person" Reading books is one of my favorite hobbies in life. I read a book whenever i have time. It is a great pleasure for me. Recording books is not just fun for me. It frees my mind. Helps to learn new things. When i read a book, i get lost in a different world. When i read storybooks, live with the characters. I feel their happiness and sorrow too. When we read history books, our knowlege increases. Recording books increases knowledge and improves vocabulary. The way of thinking is also clear. I think reading books is food for the mind. 😁 Many people use social media today. But the mental well-being that comes from reading a book cannot be compared to everyone to read a book. It is a good habit that helps us succeed in life.

  A trip to Japan  Japan is a beautiful country in the world. A country that is technologically and ssocially advanced. We all have a dream of' if only we could go to japan'. Japan's culture is very deep. The whole world appreciates their dignity, piety and purity. I bow when i meet someone. If we go to japan we get a variety of foods. New foods like sushi, ramen and kimchi are available. They bring us a new taste. That food is clean and wholesome.   There are beautiful places to visit in japan. The sakura flowers season is the most beautiful time. Walking through flower gardens is a beautiful experience. Saying 'i wish i could go to japan' is not just a dream. It's an experiences to be had. It's an opportunity to see a new world in life. We must seize such opportunities. We must pursue our dreams.

  My favorite book  My favorite book is Madolduwa. This book is written by Martin Wikramasinghe. The main character of this story is a boy named Upul. Upul with his friend jinnaha, they go to an island called Madolduwa. They go there and live a life of their own. In tha meantime, they gain diverse experiences. This book develops the qualities of frifriendship through meditation. The challenges Upul and Jinnaha face are interesting. I like this book because it is interesting and fun  and when we read it, we remember our childhood. That's Madolduwa is my favorite book.

  My pet  My pet's name is Balo. He is a beautiful black and white pet. I love him. Baloo is a very active pet. He likes to run with me when  i go to the graden. His favorite game is catching the ball. I would like to feed him. He likes to eat meat and drink milk. He seeks comfort in me. My pet is my best friend. I am always happy with him when i am at home. I would like to get more pet friends for Baloo in the future.

  World Woman's Day  A woman is an important person in society. The special day to celebrate that importantce is woman's day. It is celebrated on March 8th every year. This is celebrated all over the world. Woman serve society as mothers, teachers and doctors. Their love and dedication give us strength. A woman is a person who should be respeoted in society. Only they are entitled to motherhood. Every woman should be treated equally. Woman's rights are important on woman's day. We must pratect woman in society. It existed in the past as well. Intevnational woman's day is a day to show the value of woman to the world. We have always respected in woman's.

  Freedom Education  Education is an important factor in our lives. A child who learns has a good future. It is social acceptance. It is mandatory for every child to go to school. It is called free education. Freedom education was introduced to Sri Lanka by Mr. C.W.W. Kannangara. He is known as the father of freedom education.  Because of him, poor children has the opportunity to study. We have many benefits from freedom education. It is important that children free uniforms and textbooks this education. This educational model helps the person who acquires knowledge to build their life. All children have equal access to education. This will produce talented teachers, doctors and engineers in the country. Freedom education is the most valuable opportunity for every individual to build a life. It is an important factor in the future development of the country.

  Cricket in Sri Lanka  Cricket is a popular sport in Sri Lanka. Sri Lankan cricket has a achieved international successes. Today, the strongest cricket team in the world is Sri Lanka cricket team. Sri Lanka won the 1996 world cup. It is leadership has been Arjuna Ranathunga. Sanath Jayasuriya and Aravinda Silva showed their talents to the world their. Since then, talented cricketers have emerged in Sri Lanka. Muththaiah Mullidaran, Kumarsangakkar and Mahela Jayawardana are some of the best players in Sri Lanka. Today, new players have emerged. The Sri Lankan cricket team has faced challenges. These include player changes, control issues and declining team performance. New young players have  joined the Sri Lankan cricket team. It is a sign of cricket becoming stronger again.

  Vesak festival  The vesak festival is a very impotent buddhist festival. This festival commemorates the birth, enlightenment and passing away of Gauthama buddha. This is a festival held in the month of vesak wich is may. This festival is a religious and cultural festival. This celebration is religious and charitable activities. Cites are decorated with lights. Dansals are held in front of homes and in cities. Pantheons are built in cities. It contains buddhist stories. Decorated lamps in homes are lit. The lights on both sides of the roads illuminate the cities. They remind us of the virtues of the buddha, dhamma and sangha. Buddhist visit temple on vesak day in the morning.   My favorite book writer My favorite book writer is Martin Wickramasinghe. He is a unique book writer in sri lanka. He was born on may 29.1890. His father is Lama Hewage Basthianda Silva. His mother is Magalla Balapitiya Liyanage Thochchohami. He is the tenth son in the family. His village was Koggala. This village had a great influence on his works. The reason for this was the location and beauty of the village. He is creative writer. At the age of 05, he learned the sinhala alphabet from the monk at the village temple. He studied at the village school. He later learned english at Bonavista school. He writes books only after this. He is a sinhala literary writer. Among the books he has written, my favorite book is Madolduwa. He has written novels and short stories. His first sinhala novel was 'Gamperaliya'.
